InfoStructure - Our Company and History
Making a Difference in a New Era of Communications
InfoStructure leads a new generation in telecommunications.
Based in southern Oregon, InfoStructure is a new generation telecommunications provider. The company began as an Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the college town of Ashland, Oregon in 1994. In 2003, the company was acquired by Prime Time Ventures, LLC, which is owned by Jeff Rhoden, Scott Hansen and Chad Cota. Jeff and Scott are operating partners and together have over thirty years of operational experience in telecommunications. Chad Cota, former NFL football star for the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts, is a silent partner.
By the time Prime Time Ventures, LLC acquired InfoStructure, Jeff and Scott already had been operating in telecommunications since 1995 as owners/founders of GCW Communication Consultants, LLC, which originally provided management and consulting in long distance communications, local dial tone, cellular and operator services. This experience enabled them to evolve InfoStructure into a competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) and eventually provide a wide range of telecommunications services to thousands of businesses and homes throughout Oregon. Today InfoStructure has grown into a flourishing telecom and internet service provider and in July of 2013 completed the acquisition of Rio Networks – another Oregon born facilities based CLEC with network architecture and on-net voice and data service offerings throughout the state. This acquisition effectively tripled InfoStructure’s revenue base and doubled its employees. Serving thousands of customers throughout Oregon as well as across the US, InfoStructure has grown steadily and profitably, even through the economic turmoil of recent years, to become the reputable telecommunications enterprise that it is known as today. With offices in Talent, OR and Roseburg, OR, it is privately held, self-funded and profitable.
